Howdy,
This is my first post. It is the 8th of December and I have 2 finals, 2 research papers that I have yet to work/study for. I should probably be doing that but I am relaxing for now.
This blog will be used to keep track of my time in Aggieland as well time line my current research. I cannot disclose what that particular research area is, but I can say that it involves working on some pretty fast computers. This is very exciting for me as this time last year I was a t-shirt longhorn fan. Although, not as hard-core at the graduate level (plenty of international students) I have joined different groups and hanged out with underclassmen that share that say passion of being an Aggie.
Although I was a longhorn fan a year ago, I am now a full red-ass Aggie! I read a saying that I found to be very true: "From the outside looking in, you can't understand it. And from the inside looking out, you can't explain it." This holds so much truth as I never really understood what being an Aggie was till I received that acceptance letter on a cool April morning. Now that I am here, I really cannot explain the feeling of pride, commodore and joy of being an Aggie.
Well, that paper is not going to read itself. Time to BTHO Finals! Whoop!!
